Staging for a Photo Shoot - Burke Even

Staging for a Photo Shoot

Staging can make a huge difference. You'll generally get better photos in the end if you help stage the house prior to the photo shoot. On-location time counts whether it's staging or shooting photos.

I think the best advise is really a question:

What do you see when you first walk into a hotel room?

Everything in it's place

Maybe a pad of paper and a pencil

No clutter

What about the bathroom in that hotel room?

Might be best to think about what you don't see:

Someone elses toothbrush, razor, hair brush...

A bar of soap that might have been used No personal items like that at all

Hmm... Less is More.

Keep it simple, think about that hotel room and de-clutter!

Oh yeah, if you can, make sure all the lights work. ALL the lights.
